Ivanpah, the world’s largest solar power plant just went live. Located in Ivanpah, California near Las Vegas, the massive facility produces 392 megawatts of solar energy for 140,000 California homes. Funded by Google, NRG and Brightsource Energy, this might mark the beginning of the revolution.
