In the midst of the 2014 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks traded disgruntled wideout Percy Harvin to the New York Jets. Harvin obviously wanted to put his short tenure in Washington in his rearview mirror by quickly selling his house in Bellevue, WA.
Harvin sold the house in December for $1.4 million—he bought the house only six months earlier for $1,384,000. His $16,000 profit for six months of ownership may appear nice at first glance, but the Puget Sound Business Journal says that after taxes and fees, Harvin likely lost about $93,000.
