According to recent data received from DataQuick, during 2010, 22,529 homes in the Golden State sold for $1 million or more, a 21 percent increase from numbers seen a year earlier.
DataQuick attributes the increase to improvements in certain segments of the economy, along with bargain shopping by the high-end home shoppers.
The most expensive confirmed purchase was a 35,378-square-foot, 15-bedroom, 7-bathroom Bel Air home, which sold for $50,000,000 in June. WOW!!!! I wonder how that houses looks inside.
Happy Valentines Day!!
